Launched on October 25, 2001, the Windows XP operating system is what you might call an "antique" at least in computing time. As popular as it is, the OS is now a thing of the past and Microsoft stopped supporting it a long time ago, on April 8, 2014, which is, despite everything, a very long lifespan for an operating system. Today, Windows is represented on our machines by version 10 - which is losing momentum - and, above all, version 11, which is, of course, the one favored by Microsoft. So if Windows XP has fallen into disuse, that hasn't stopped a certain WindowsVista64x, a user of the Reddit platform, from having fun with the operating system to the point of generating what Doc Brown from Back to the Future might well call a time paradox. WindowsVista64x equipped himself with a Dell Optiplex 7010 computer which hosts an Intel Core i5-3470 processor as well as an NVIDIA Quadro K1200 graphics card. On the beast, he installed Windows XP and added the VirtualBox 5.2.44 software before setting up a virtual machine and installing the Windows 11 operating system... well, tried to install Windows 11 first. Indeed, the maneuver was not a piece of cake. As you probably know, Windows 11 has quite specific hardware requirements and the absence, for example, of a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 does not normally allow the system to be installed. To achieve its goals, WindowsVista64x was therefore forced to use a "reworked" version of Windows 11, an ISO that is of course not recognized by Microsoft. No matter, for the user, the important thing was elsewhere and, simply, to demonstrate that you can run a brand new Windows 11 on this old, but sentimentally endearing, banger that is Windows XP. For the beauty of the gesture in short ! https://www.reddit.com/r/windowsxp/comments/1iajvd5/windows_11_inside_windows_xp_x64/ text/markdownUTF-8|"1PuQa7K62MiKCtssSLKy1kh56WWU7MtUR5SETapptreechattypepost|"15PciHG22SNLQJXMoSUaWVi7WSqc7hCfva BITCOIN_ECDSA"1QC6bjxvSBdiHqGM48t5RxjTEYW6BX4vu4LXH50GHymzPkwXBklUzciY+k2btntDpBz2T66IsWAXGm6eCz3FbsNb9ZAup8JQ980haBfUrqLEsy80wfZMSVIoduU=
