I'm recording a song, and at a specific point, I copied a section of a synthesizer and pasted it further down the timeline. However, I noticed that the copied section loses brightness and intensity compared to the original.

Here are some additional details:

All effects, compressors, and automation were copied correctly.

The audio track is aligned correctly on the grid.

I've rendered the track and the entire project, but the issue persists.

I tried inverting the phase of the audio track, but it didn't help.

I muted all other tracks that could be interfering, but the problem still occurs when I move the track to a different measure.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas on what could be causing this loss of brightness and intensity?

Thanks in advance for your help!

https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=291983&goto=newpost

Vess

Loss of Brightness and Intensity When Moving Or Duplicating Track in Reaper

https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=291983
