In 1967 Karl Ferris was invited to shoot several sessions for Donovan. For this image, from the ‘Wear Your Love Like Heaven’ session, Ferris envisaged a psychedelic pre-Raphaelite image to illustrate the music within. He took Donovan to Cornwall to shoot the cover art for ‘A Gift From A Flower To A Garden’, and the film ‘Wear Your Love Like Heaven’. Captured in a boat on the moat at Bodium Castle, Ferris has selected this evocative photograph for his ‘Sunshine Superman’ collection of NFTs.
