In early 2000s Ioannis started to experiment heavily with creating digital artwork. This was one of the first images he created working with 3D modelling software and digital palettes, building on a scan of a female portrait from an airbrush illustration painted in 1983. The result was Nevermore. In the years that followed it was used as cover art for a metal band, a poster t-shirt and calendar art. Now it is entering the metaverse as an NFT. It is one of the finest examples of his current digital artwork.
