In early 2000s Ioannis started to experiment heavily with creating digital artwork. Returning to his love of H.R. Giger he created this iconic image, which in the years that followed was used as cover art for a metal band, a magazine cover, a poster and calendar art and recently the official image of the Heavy Metal Hall Of Fame, featured on its commemorative poster. Now it is entering the metaverse as an NFT in a limited edition of 300. It is one of the finest examples of his current digital artwork.
